Do you have any idea how hard it is to update this thread when THIS forum has crashed?

Somewhere between Saturday night and Sunday morning this forum was gone, and all that could be seen is that message down there.

Because the hoster thought it would be great idea to rise the costs for hosting the forum and the uploaded files, without communicating the rise of 100€ with the customer (Shade).
We discuss the next steps in the background.

It's also worth noting that I expanded the merchandise store a little bit. Cafepress had evolved their offerings and the store was a little broken and outdated.

While http://www.unrealfuzz.com/forums/ is sort of down, in that's it's still there but they've changed locations (for the same reason Shade moved our forum) and he's working the transition.

Just thought I'd drop in with some news about my forum at Unrealfuzz.com.
I have switched hosts and am having a hard time importing/migrating the old, outdated phpbb3.0.x forum to a newer version at the new host.
Moving the redirects for 2 different servers was easy and downloads are much faster.
Much wasted time, though following phpbb suggestions that didn't work for me.
The goal is to restore the old posts, so if anyone was ever interested in visiting there, please be patient.
Also, if any of you esteemed members have experience in phpbb migrations, please let me know.

I did several of them. Best way for me was to create a new installation with the same PHP, PHPBB and database versions (maybe in a VM), transfer the custom files, backup the database at the old host and import it at the new host.
Then update all related software, if needed in multiple small version steps.
