What monster would you / do you like to play as?

There's this mutator, of sorts, called Coop that let's you play UT as an Unreal1 monster. Literally any of the monsters, even the NaliCows (believe it or not). Some folks even have servers dedicated to this specific mutator/gametype.

I expect some of you know of what I speak, while others are gazing upon these words mildly freaked.

Yes, it's real.

Only tricky part is some monsters are too big to fit through some doorways.

For those that have played it, or haven't as yet, which monster do you / would you like to play as and why?

It'll fit the name I've been using (Vandora) for awhile and if it adapt flying ability, and other, it'll be awesome! & a way to represent Vandora.

Skaarj Trooper ...because he can use all weapons. And it would be fun to investigate and hunt this filthy human who infiltrated our territory.

And a Nali priest ...try to play/survive Unreal without weapons and cast spells to open hidden passages.

Skaarj Trooper ...because he can use all weapons.

Also a fave of mine, but not just cuz of that. Sktroopers (Gunners, Snipers, etc) all the military Skaarj can use normal weapons but they also have that shield on 1 arm. I can activate that shield from one of the taunts, and unlike when an actual Skaarj uses it... you can't be killed when you have it out. Can even survive multiple redeemer hits, although you can't kill anyone when it's up so you gotta put it away to score.

Also love the Warlord, as it flies & can turn invisible... but similarly you gotta turn visible in order to kill anything.

Seriously? I love playing as a monster! Well, I use U4E Tournament to play as a Skaarj... but I always loved mantas!

Had to google that. You mean that statue in the Nali temples with the wings and four arms and the... uhm, multiple tracts of land?

Couldn't you just map that over a Warlord and make it slimmer?? Provided it was possible to skin the monsters Unreal1 uses, or I suppose find some way for Coop to access different monster/model-packages.

They can. But if you are player with the monster to play as, I don't know about that.
However, on (latest) XC_Engine the queen won't telefrag you but chase you around the map!

Use the queen on CTF-Face and use "resize" putting 50% for the size percentage and here you go, you're ready to get the flag
