Ah, no no ...you misunderstood. The map fits perfectly fine into the limit but it will be afterwards much much bigger due to Portals. It will be an endless and insane tower. I didn't decide on the gamemode ...it can be played as a DM or a DOM map.
But Layout first.
I hope the UEd Goblin will spare me this time.

Ah I see I did toy with the idea of a map with warp zones to make it seem larger. But ended up making quite an open outdoor map that wouldn't suit the idea. But i have had to use some teleporters to help the player get around the map verticaly, they just make the map flow better than loads of stairs and lifts!
Im thinking lots of Portals which mess with the players orientation and direction, beeming them all around the map in a seemingly random fashion could be quite fun. It would make the map hard for a player to control the game as learning the layout would be difficult and it would lead to some pretty random situations! I look forward to playing it.

Haha yeah I know but I think I can reduce the warp zones to a minimum.
Ok back to mapping and drawing stuff ...because I'm participating in the #inktober event on twitter.
Two times a crash and the loss of hours of work ...because I'm an idiot who forget how unstable UEd2 is ...I switch next time to UEd2.1 ...but I got the main corpus ready and can now work on the ladders and book shelves and platforms.

What does %UTDIR%\System\Editor.log say? Is there a line like this?
Editor.log wrote:Log: Autosaving 'MAP SAVE AUTOSAVE=1 FILE=D:\Programme\UT\System\..\Maps\Auto9.unr'
Arrgh ...I've expected that it would create backups with the file name ...they're there.
Ok now can nothing go wrong.
And I noticed 3 minutes are a little bit fast 5 are enough.
The stairs are replaced with simpler fake-stairs ...I noticed some huge nodes warnings after I got half of the first Tower segment. No I'm final with the second segment and still no errors and warnings. I hope the UEd Goblin keeps away from this one.
