Graphic issues in some new MH maps

I played the maps MH-EpicAdventure2016 and MH-FairyValleyVFinal lately and I had some graphic issues in these.
I found screenshots of these maps where these issues does not exist, so is it configurable in my UT99 client?
I changed from OpenGL to DirectX9, with both drivers I get these black surfaces.

Try setup for graphic part SmoothMaskedTextures or such. If this does not help... just screw maps. Drop out textures and do a proper import, Save As other name, have fun... if they have been released in this state, for sure they won't be originally fixed...

THUNDERBOLT's maps are a thing of visual beauty, which often have tons of little problems.

You get used to this after awhile... though you may try futzing around with your graphic setup. OpenGL isn't great for everything.

I set SmoothMaskedTextures from False to True in OpenGL and DirectX9 config but these graphic issues still exist.

On dU there was also this topic, and in my firm believe I think the textures are not properly masked in the graphics program. i.e. photoshop , gimp etc... no matter what renderder you use. I have the same problem too while making masking textures. Compatibility issues. Gotta use the original cs 2 or earlier to get something compatible.

Textures gotta be reimported in 8 bit PCX format, and the transparent color has to be the one on index 0 in the palette.
Tough luck.
