Quick, easy tips for sorting files?

Hi, I have UT99 on Steam I'm on Windows 10.

So I have a TON of maps, skins and so forth that I can put into my game. I know how to do it, but unzipping everything into its own folder and then moving it into the proper folder in the UT directory is really time consuming and kind of tedious and annoying. Does anybody have any more efficient strategies for unzipping what I want into the proper folders so they can be installed quickly?

I have tried UMOD Extractor but it barely works because it won't extract everything into the proper folders automatically, and other tools either don't do what I need em to do or just don't work at all. I'd love some help, modding's one of my favorite things to do on this game but gosh it is boring sometimes.

Old .umod files were self-extracting files to all the necessary directories... but that doesn't work on all systems.

Unless you've got a way to configure your own .umod files, which frankly would take longer than doing it yourself manually, I don't know what to tell you.

For maps, you could use the UT Map Manager. Go here and search for UTMM. Not sure if there's a similar utility for skins. But UTMM should help make short work of (un)installing lots of maps from .zip files. I don't think it detects .rar files though.

For umods, have you tried UModTool.exe? I use this though not to unpack files to the default UT folders but to unpack them in a separate folder. This way I can check, for example, .utx files with the same name to avoid overwriting when the file size is different, or view skins to decide if I want to keep them or not. There are advantages in not automatically and instantly installing files.

For zip files, I don't think you will find anything that will do what you want though you could try looking at http://medor.no-ip.org/ or http://www.ut-files.com/.
