There's a number of things about UA that confuses me, and I may ask about this other thing in a couple days but for now I'd like to address the search engine.

To make sure I'm not uploading the same map more than once (which has happened) I run searches to check, especially as I periodically have done edits of the same map multiple times with monster or weapon swaps; and with XV.

But it's not too effective when what I search for doesn't pop up even though it is on UA.

Because the search probably reads the full map name as "find XV but not FragIsland" since there is a - between XV and FragIsland in the map name. So it won't look beyond "CTF-XV" and will ignore 'FragIsland' - no idea if the search 'engine' can be refined in a way to ensure this doesn't happen.

Search for 'Frag Island' and that map shows up with two others, as the phrase 'Frag Island' is in the text description/title.

I recently upgraded the search backend, and it's created some inconsistencies and breakages with searches, specifically with wildcards. Just haven't got around to sorting it out yet.

You can also try a Google or DDG search for:
