as far as I remember evilgrins had an exclusive disc once too/an alt version of goty, too. But some of the stuff he kept wasn't from there and its hard to tell what was, but either way I wish Unreal had some exclusive cds too, again the only one that came out was the one in france to my knowledge, but who knows what there might have been unseen on OEM discs. But the UT ones seem to only feature levels that were only already avaiable for download (despite baranco being originally set to be a real exclusive, in the version we didn't see without the extra textures).

But yea they only did(to my knowledge) the "exclusive" thing in russia with the original unreal (like the fixed version of gramercy) or unreal gold. Including later a personalized version from a known mod author known as "platinum edition" (afaik no isos of this exist anymore since it was internet order only). But it was just downloaded packs anyway and only the menu items were altered to provide for the new packs. But *cough* that was far from anything official and it wasn't in stores unlike the early versions.

I believe what was there in the original version was "tower of shrakitha, strangeworld, illhaven saga, invasion, shadows of na pali v2 (or 1.2 w/e), apocalypse threat, The Elder, One Day in the Life Of..(that might be it iirc) And Operation Na Pali and Legacy for the UT side of things. edit: forgot shamuquest in the list AND Hexephet
Apart from the default contents of ugold and ut goty and some extras.

There just might be a lot of those "event only" cds that we just don't know much about. If it wasn't for a single user once on beyondunreal giving us the french bonus cd of "votlan" we would never know of its existence (he even provided the pictures of the cd and back/front cover.
Then again that was GTI France signed under that/distributed it.

It looks to me that this one is 2 bytes smaller (on my system/OS) than the August 2000 version.

The readme for the 08/2000 version says

Additional credits to : David Catmull, for finding a way to fix the bot-problem.

which is not in the readme for the 15/06/2000 version.

Ah so this is an earlier version. In that case better than Baranco which wasn't the original level the guy submitted but the patched version with new textures...which is too bad, but at least this is a different and unique version I guess. Thx.

Always good to have unique ones, just like with Gramecy (except the CD one was newer).

Fascinating that it's this one, I would've guessed a DOM map (specificly something like DOM-MomentoMori), following the pattern of already having a DM, CTF and AS exclusive, unless there might've been one more disc like that.
