NUTStats should already solve this issue.

@Gecko, use alt+printscreen and paste in paint.
Or use Snippy! (Snipping Tool)
Default tool in Windows.
I use MSI Afterburner for my gfx card, and there is a tool RivaTunerStatistics which comes with it.
It has a buildin screen recorder and capture tool which saves in jpg.
It also gives a nice FPS value in every game
