Remote Desktop crashes server

Me and a friend of mine are trying to set up a Windows server but we have some problems. The server works rather fine when we're logged remotely onto the server computer, but the server dies every time we shut down the remote desktop (not log out, just kill it). Has anyone ran into a similar issue before?

because your not running UT as a service. you either need to NOT log out of the server and just "lock" it. (start menu, windows security, then click lock)

or

get this program and run ut as a service the way it should be done
