For those interested, here is the zenith coop version I've been making for 3's server.

ZenCoop

The tragedy of this is that while making this/working on this I was thrown out twice in between even and was stuck homeless. Let's hope that its the end of the curse, its like doing this brought the curse on....

Some of the stuff is more in mind with 3's setup, there's also the addition of the "psx rework" weapons, mostly because most zenith ones were too buggy or didn't work online, though selected few zenith weapons are still used. It is a bit of a mess and some stuff if you manage to get it stuck can be bypassed by grab keys and what not...but still it was a major task despite not being perfect. Most of the scriptwarnings have been fixed, there was spam of the messages that could make the log grow enormous very soon. The vehicle maps are skipped btw. The main reason for this was also to get rid of the dll dependancy as it made the players that didnt have zenith not being able to join at all. There was one music track that i didn't have with the supplied older version zenith music (the umx files) hence why i used one of the upb tracks in its place. Overall it is a unique experience, but recommended to play this on 3's...

So how do I open up these maps in the editor? It doesn't seem to work for me nothing is there. Did he delete all of his adds and subtracts? I can see lights and stuff even some textured brushes.

Perhaps you don't have all the files necessary to open the map properly? I've just tried ZENITH1Part1Coop.unr in the Editor and works fine for me but I do have the Zenith mod files already installed. The files in the zip aren't enough to run the maps I suspect.

A list of the files opened by the Editor when opening that map (even then I see that some of the 'pawn' skins are missing and I obviously don't have them)

In passing I would note that the text in the Zenith HUD and in the info screens (not sure what the correct name is for these) is very small and a light blue colour on a grey background - very difficult to read (imagine that the text on this forum is in light blue and using a font that is about half the size). Possibly one of the reasons I didn't play much of this campaign when I first got it.

Yes he deleted all the brushes. Except I believe for few of the intermission maps its all gone. I suppose he wanted to keep the map size down and "original do not steal" thing even though its doubtful in few cases.

That is not what he is saying. He was confused that there were no brushes whatsoever.

Thanks Leo(T.C.K.). That is correct that's what I was asking in a crappy kind of way. All the maps will open in the editor. But he deleted all of the added and subtracted brushes. I assume for copyright preservation.

Thank you OjitroC. Sorry, I lead you down the wrong path.

It also keeps the filesize small but yea he did. Which makes it nearly impossible to fix some bsp errors (not many on those maps but i did notice a few here and there). So yea deleting brushes is a bad idea but I guess it made sense.
