giant maps for all weapon/sniping?

Hi all
As title says, Anyone can tell me or put a list (the more the better) of this kind of maps whatever if is meant to be played as normal weapons (stock ut weapons) or as sniping/RL? i I do have all nix maps because they the most are very nice and great to play. Guys for you which are the best giant maps for this section in your opinion? Throw your must-to-have list and download them to my collection, please

Many years ago, In the so-called "golden age of sniper mod", almost every sniper clan built their own set of large/giant maps.
Basically, 2 types of large sniper maps have been built: city maps and interiors maps, imho city maps are probably the best ones. I think about maps by SUF, BBST, TKK but there are also awesome maps built by other clans. It's really difficult to make a complete list but I can point out some of them:

I can look for those maps but specifically those you think are the best of the best made to date (nix maps I have in my collection ) also same question for evilgrins and anybody. See how pietro did here (thanks for suggestions dude!).

I think Pietro about covered it really - but in addition to the ones he mentioned (which I like), I also like

DM-(MOS) Infinity City + any of the larger InfinityCity remixes and splices
DM-(SoP) Trofa_Harbor + any of the TrofaHarbor splices
SUF Concrete Jungle, Derelict City, Lakeside City, Shrapnel Bay, Urban Ascent, Urban Complex, Wharf Town (I like SUF maps!)
TA Ribeira, Infinity CIty
There's a Riberia/Dogtown map - can't remember the clan
TD Gotham

It's a matter of opinion whether these are the best - all I can do really is list ones that I have enjoyed over the years - there are more of course - really the best thing to do is to download a bunch of maps from Pietro's Sniper Maps section and try them out - that's what I've done and I think that's part of the fun of UT.

I'm not really a sniper, I'm mostly the guy running around who gets sniped a lot.

My personal opinion, this is the best:

Multiple rooms, lots of furniture, places to hide, and very soothing music.

Also check out DM-BULL_Ribeira (a complete remake) and DM-BULL_BridgeSE (plus some of the other Bridge variants).

Don't forget "The best is the enemy of the good" - here meaning that searching for the 'best' (which is subjective) may result in missing some good or very good maps. Take these suggestions and if you like a map, search out others by the same maker (or from the same clan - it will become obvious from looking through the list on Pietro's site which are the clans that specialised in sniping and produced maps for sniping). As I said that's part of the fun of finding maps for UT, one thing leads to another (and so on, for a very long time).
