It is pure server-side mod, which can also run in local games. So it not involved in net play. You can use any version locally, that not matter for servers to which you connect. If on server not installed int file, you even not know if there such mutators, except behavior changes.

So no any mismatches by design.

Oh okay thank you for letting me know about that Buggie I just hope that the updates for this mutator can get finished soon anyway.

Thanks for making this mod, seems to improve things a lot. I've always enjoyed the single player experience fighting with bots.

Since you seem to understand the logic behind the bots, is there any way you can look into it bots not following orders - for example if I have 16 players in CTF-Kosov and I tell them all "Get their flag", half of them still hang out in the watch towers instead of assaulting the base. I've seen similar issues in other maps as well, they still gravitate to certain defense positions. Not sure exactly what causes this and maybe this Mutator can fix that?

If bots can, and know where flag, then they will try reach it. If they don't then there no path to flag, or they not know where it is. In that case they got order attack, but since not know where flag, start wandering.

Interesting, thanks for explaining. Is there a way to tell all the bots where the flag is and make this a flag in SmartStockBots "AlwaysKnowFlagLocation=True" or something. Just an idea for a future version. Would make for some epic bot battles sending everyone out to attack.

It is a cheat. Did human always know where flag is? No.
Why bots would be?

If you see flag, or any of teammates see it, it marked as known location. if nobody see, then bots can not know where it is.

Most of the the maps are 25 years old I should hope they know where the flags are by now 😂

Hmm I just did a test, grabbed the flag, ordered them to get their flag. No change. What about a "cross session" flag memory or something, where once a specific bot knows where a specific flag is, they know for next time? haha.

Use MindReader for see what bots do and why. Also open map in the editor and ensure maps actually contain paths. Esp about FlagBases. Its must not be not in air and with input green paths.

Hello, great work! One thing i would ask to update is to make bots dont rush with straight forward dodge straight into you when you hold sniper/shock/enhanced shock rifle atleast in deathmatch cause it makes them very easy target to hit and making them stupid instead of smart :) This type of behaviour occurs with this mutator even if you set their style to avoidant and camping to max, which is a workaround for this with regular stock bots.
