That mod not tied to gamemodes. And must work with all possible gamemodes. If no, then it bug, and must be addressed.
Some issue fixes come from DM, DOM or CTF, but that not mean "support" of this modes.
That is generic mutator/mod, which target all possible gametypes. Even of which I likely not aware of. Like Bounce for example.
