Hey, anyone know a simple bmp to pcx converter program for me?

I suppose it depends what you want to do but you can import a .bmp in UEd and export it as a .pcx (you can do this in UEd 2.2 in 469c, can't remember if it is possible in 436).

I'm using PaintShopPro 4.14. This ancient app does a nice conversion to 256 colors - maybe you can see images which I'm posting when it comes to explanations with visuals. Editor 436 is able to import BMP files at 24 bit colors as well - raw BMP not those with headers and other embedded junks.

I use ThumbsPlus, which not only converts numerous formats but also adjusts palettes from True Color down to 256 & back again.

Need use good software like Photoshop or Bright, because it is palletization. And fast&dirty palletization can reduce texture quality a lot.
In upcoming v469d possible be included converter, which do it nicely when you open some formats.
