Is Mapraider gone?

For a while, I haven't been able to load up https://www.mapraider.com/.

Is it retired? Gone? Just broken? The DNS still resolves but fails to load HTTP responses.

Very strange, it does not load at all for me. I can load it from an overseas server.

I wonder if my ISP or IP block is somehow blocked.

It works for me as well.

It could be that DNS is resolving to different IPs in different locations, and one of them being an old location that is no longer valid.
This can happen if the site changed locations, given that the DNS TTL will vary from node to node, region to region, connection type, even your own computer and browser caches DNS results for an arbitrary amount of time.

Seems to resolve to the same address from my machine and the VPS I'm testing from. Also works over a mobile data connection. Seems it just doesn't like my IP/ISP. The connection timeout I'm getting feels like a firewall or routing issue on their end relating to my source address/block.

Oh well.

You can use this free tool to check what your DNS is reporting for any given domain.
It also lets you set specific DNS to use for testing so you can compare.

The ISPs in Australia are busy collecting all the data they can, so they can "protect you".
Modern browsers support encrypted DNS lookups. You should enable this function.
Alternatively Cloudflare have a tool you can use to enforce encrypted DNS for the whole OS (desktops and phones), and optionally use Cloudflare as a VPN
