Unreal 1 models for ut99

Im trying to make the perfect combination of ut99 meets unreal sorta thing, and im looking for models / skins from unreal that can be used as playermodels. Ive got some skaarj trooper models, some unreal humans such as gina and drace, and i even got slith and krall. Is there any more?

pretty sure the easiest way to access all the original u1 models as player models is with the oldskool amp'd mods.

More Unreal player models include
a) Merc;
b) Skaarj Warrior;
c) the UMS Marine;
d) the Unreal Nali;
e) Nali Rabbit, Fly, Bird, etc - look on UnrealArchive for models with the prefix BTA (I think I tried the Rabbit once - a bit weird from what I remember ).

Also with an Unreal flavour are the UnPlayers1.01 - Male, Female, Skaarj, etc, etc - even has an Unreal95 Woman (similar to the StoneWoman ScriptedPawn).

As regards skins for the player models - there are loads - just search for Male1/2/3 and Female 1/2 - some of the available .utx contain a large number of skins so there are a variety of skins to use.

So i looked up the bta stuff on the unreal archive, got the bunny and the fly bird stuff. i then looked at medors stuff for the skaarj warrior, but the stuff im interested in are ending with .uc, which i never heard of. What are these and what can i do with them?

Don't bother with the .uc files - they need to be compiled and probably need assets you don't have.

Im interested in those skins in that pic evilgrin has. Is there a working warlord model? I have one, but its wings are translucent and when used as a model it doesnt have a death animation, it just kinda poofs into nothing.

Is there a working warlord model? I have one, but its wings are translucent and when used as a model it doesnt have a death animation, it just kinda poofs into nothing.

You have a Warlord Player/Bot model? I haven't seen one of those - can you post it or post a link to it?

On the death animation - check in the Editor whether it has a carcass - pawns without a carcass will just disappear when killed. It may also be set to teleport when hurt which would also account for it disappearing.

The Warlord carcass is a pain though as it is more or less permanent unless gibbed.

Those are OK but just to note that the TMales and TFemales lack the Strafe, Dodge and Flip animations of the TournamentPlayer and so will move a bit awkwardly and look a bit odd, plus give rise to log warnings.

They come in 4 files of skins, but not the model. I use the model that's in the original Oldskool made by Usaar33, but was removed from other versions... but they still will work for other Sktrooper models, probably.

At that link is 1 of the skin sets, multiple skins in it.

After a bit of searching, I find I have that as well - it's ALIEN_Warlord and no, it doesn't have a carcass which is why it disappears when killed.
