Using 469c Release, I played 24H-DayCare and WaterGiant with and without the mutator - played on both Red and Blue Team (though without bots). In all cases, the result was the same - the opposing DMSkaarjBerserker attacked me.
So I can't really comment on the effect of the mutator but I can say that for me in 469c everything works as it should, though it did not in previous versions of 469.
Having said that, it's good that there is now something to fix the issue in all 469 versions
