Dark Hero

Had a little chat with OjitroC not too long ago, and my various superhero type skins came up... which is when I remembered I never released this one.

The "Dark Hero" skin has gone through a number of iterations since I first made it, and even I'm not 100% sure when that was. Earliest reference I've got for it was back in 2009...

...but that's only the 1st time I ever posted about it.

Chris Ollis does beautiful work, and he made 2 packages of superhero skins. No team colors, but lovely things to behold. They might've been my 1st attempt to give full team colors to an existing skin that didn't have any or only had 2.

I reworked them from how they looked originally, as I wasn't too happy with my first choices for red & yellow:

But it's definitely good to go for sharing.

It's still rough in points, as I kept the hands from where the faces came from; it has 10 different faces.

Yeah, like this - great range of faces to choose from Will be using a couple of these skins for some ScriptedPawn heroes.

I love it. I need to get these added to my server. I need to figure out how to customize all of my bots to be wearing skins.

You list them in the ServerPackages.

As to literally putting the skins on the bots, you do that manually in bot configurations.

A couple of shots of Dark Heroes Konoko encountered on her travels (travails?)

First in Stalingrad - somewhere where Konoko likes to keep her trusty M249 handy, not least because there, in the background, is Muerta armed with the deadly Volcanno Cannon, though of course our Hero here is a formidable opponent as well

Then in Infinity CIty (one of the many Infinity Cities in the UT Universe, this one's a NSA remix of that classic) another Hero - a place Konoko likes to return to now and again for the chance to exercise her skills with her AWP, taking care to stay out of range of that shotgun the Hero wields
