This can help users stick together, come to forums/discord, update to new version and be aware of news.
Which can prolong game life.

Tiny and easy mutator.
Bring back functionality of news page from server browser.

Exists two versions:
1. FixNetNews - easy and plain (recommended)
2. FixNetNewsAsk - which one ask user once, after join (delay 5 seconds), and fix settings only if user write in chat !FixNetNews

Install:
Add to mutator list FixNetNews.FixNetNews (or to ServerActors - preferred way)
Add to ServerPackages FixNetNews.

As result it be

ServerPackages=FixNetNews
ServerActors=FixNetNews.FixNetNews

If you use FixNetNewsAsk, you need use FixNetNewsAsk, instead, like FixNetNewsAsk.FixNetNewsAsk

oldunreal.com

This already applied inside v469d patch. This need for apply to older clients, who enter to your server.

This allow inform ppl about new patches, and stick all players together around DC and forums for UT99.org and OldUnreal.

Also it contains useful links, for who want extends UT with additional contents. This must too help prolong game life.

Also OldUnreal implement serving master servers. So if old clients use auto update master servers, this change not only return news, but fix masterservers.

Fixed mistake in install instructions.

It must be:

Install:
Add to mutator list FixNetNews.FixNetNews (or to ServerActors - preferred way)
Add to ServerPackages FixNetNews.

As result it be

ServerPackages=FixNetNews
ServerActors=FixNetNews.FixNetNews

Yes, it not work with XBrowser unfortunately.

XBrowser use own news page and own server for it.

XBrowser use next MOTD page:
http://unitedunreal.bplaced.net/UpdateS ... XVer=2.0.1

But unfortunately this host and address hardcoded into package. When for UT stock browser, host name is stored in config. Which make possible such mutator.

For XBrowser no easy way update address - need or rebuild package, or each time fix it in memory, after load.

We even can't fix "Press F6 to see the original MotD page by EpicGames." - since there too hardcoded hostname to epic server which shutdown long time ago.
