I haven't played UT for quite some time but since returning to it I am getting kicked from at least one server (ComboGib London) with the message Ace: "File = dinput8.dll". When I do a file search for it the file in nowhere in my UT folder. There is a copy in my FiveM folder however, and Windows System folder.
Any advice on what this might be and what to do about it? Thanks.

Re: Kicked for dinput8.dll
It is ACE problem, not UT. And it will be fixed in next ACE version. In fact it already fixed, just ACE not yet in public.

Re: Kicked for dinput8.dll
It has NOT been fixed as of the date of this post and ACEv12e
I just joined the OMA server, downloaded the dozens of packages, then kick!
[ACEv12e]: File = dinput8.dll
[ACEv12e]: Please disable all software that may interfere with the game.
[ACEv12e]: If you believe this is a false positive detection, then please
[ACEv12e]: report this problem on the Anti-Cheat forums @ ut99.org. You may
[ACEv12e]: also want to seek help at the ut99.org discord channel.
UT v469d
Yeah this sucks.
I will add that I have a secondary machine from the exact same IP, even LAN, that can connect no problem using the same version of UT.

Ahh. I missed that, My mistake. Thanks for lookin' out:)
STILL very weird that it works for one machine, and not another on the same LAN.
UPDATE
The changing MOUSE settings from DIRECT INPUT to RAW I can confirm WORKS for me.
Cheers!
