Hello people. I hope that you are fine.
I need help.
I want to use UT99 in the most difficult way, to train aim for tactical shooters, in this case, Tactical Ops.
I'm using a cs1.6 mutator which adds recoil and firearms, but i need more for training. I need more recoil, smaller hitboxes or TO3.5 hitboxes and add maps of TO in UT99. This is for OFFLINE TRAINING.
How i do this?
Also im banned from discord because my account was hijacked and i recovered. Please Unban me.
Best Regards

Hi there, welcome to the forum.
Quite few TO maps are converted Infiltration maps so you could use the original Infiltration maps (removing Infiltration stuff where necessary).
You can convert 'pure' TO maps to UT99 by removing all the TO actors and adding whatever pickups you want. I've done that with some of the larger TO maps and added navigation networks.
You will need TO to be on your UT path(s) so that the UT Editor can find the required files - it would be best to have the TO files in the UT/System, Sounds, Textures, etc directories.
UT models have collision cylinders rather than hitboxes - you can make the cylinders smaller but would need to subclass the models to do so. There be other methods that I am not aware of.
I thought one can increase or decrease the recoil of Counter Strike weapons via the .ini for the relevant mod/mutator - I don’t like recoil so have all my CS weapons set really low. Alternatively you can subclass the weapons you want to use and set the recoil high in the subclasses.

OjitroC's suggestion to use Infiltration is a great one, having played INF for years it is a challenging tactical shooter. You might look at Rainbow Six 3: Raven Shield which is on the Unreal Engine 2 if that interests you.

Mind PM'ing me or one of the other mods about the Discord ban? Will look into it
