This archive exists to complement the Unreal Archive
My archive focuses on UT3 contents - with a few UT99 inclusions in the form of Dumps (like EvilGrins backups of SkinCity and UT Music)
This archive desires its existence because UT3 does not get love, less today, less tomorrow
People age, and I am young and interested like a puppy, and I was granted wide open eyes to take the decision that today leads to this archiving project

My contribution mostly materializes in the form of Dumps (see the Dump folder)
However I also attempt to host website contents, currently MapRaider and UnrealPlayground are hosted, the latter which shut down many long years ago, but I recovered 104 out 225 files out of it I recovered all of them thru Alt Fire ^^ (I checked all the download ids)
I also attempt to host MediaFire sourced contents (or anything not hosted locally) - These are prioritized over websites - which, many, are still up, but starting from these years and onwards - Action ought to be taken to host these immediately

Context: I used to tear up the dumps given to me years ago, in essence, taking them apart - No backups

The only side effects are... Skaa3z's dump is deeply embedded in 19286, that is right, that is my UT3 install, which I provided as a dump too, technically serves as the UT3 Demo with mods all over the place

Only Carbon can please the desire on a correct Dump on his content - Vision is, if he does not appear in about a year - I may do the dirty work and repack it ^^

Unreal Archive should hold files for Published mods, what I am posting is Unreleased
*sheds a tear* I do not mind if you do upload the stuff - This game is dead for 2 years

I am the one to call it, only one that can call it as accurately as close to the chest (the heart) than anyone in the globe, because I saw it from my own eyes,
Sites like MapRaider, UTzone, Russian Tournament, saw a last update in over 2 years for UT3 mods

Not only that, I was very close to at least 2 out of the 4 influential (to me, and others) (in many ways) modders that were on UT3 until last minute before its shutdown from Steam

HEDRumple stopped modding after UT3 was killed off Steam, he provided me some Dumps from Rumpled Metal & Bloodshed
Hedsteem too as his clan name suggests ^^

Skaa3z left, due to third world Country problems, he provided me Dumps but I didn't keep them all, his dumps are of less value because most are rips from other games But I kept all the custom characters!
Carbon change my mind if he has beyond what I do... Outside of characters

Euchreplayer23 I never met him personally, but he finished up wrapping his stuff in 2023 and was kind enough to host it all on MediaFire... He is the god of PS3 mods and he loves UT2D!

TKBS... You hold up man sad to see you go - I installed UT3 THX to your guides before I was gifted it on Steam! I still don't spend any penny on this game... I snuck into the modding scene until I was given an extra life by God
I had a gold fish brain years back. I seriously thank you, you do not get enough THX, sometimes I forget you led me here.

If the Archive is not as huge as it seems / if I am not backing up all stuff at an Alarming rate
Is I request you all one last thing - Can you get me @Carbon ? I wish to back his entire, E-N-T-I-R-E collection, all its data

I have a child's play way to do it, I have 1000 GB unused on OneDrive (I dropped it in exchange of Filen), we two can use this as transfer tunnel
My dad works as an IT --- Read this --- I have SOOOO, MANY, DRIVES, laying around unused it is embarassing, I have 5 drives alone in a separate PC (that I am using as a desk and footrest), 500 GB each that are completely empty: SSDs, Hard Disk drives - but I have piles - All returning from - in the past - Customers who happen to gift them for replacements, upgrades, anything goes.

As of typing the Maps folder is downloading... U figured it out!



150 GBs oh my god It says 22337 ... Huh??? Take the last three numbers
That's nearly... 1337!

I just downloaded UT-Files, the UT3 portion that is - The UT99 and UT2004 were crossing my mind
But I have memory still and Medor's site I recall held the entirety of UT-Files already, so I took the bite and I am doing Medor's instead

I may shoot for the UT2004 files but I cannot see this MSU folder - Make Something Unreal
The reason I jumped out of my chair after posting this thread is that, this stuff is genuinely hard to get grips on, No site is willing to place a spot for them
So when UT3-Files came back from the dead like right after I posted SKAARJNET (dude is this my lucky day or what??) or very close to that date because It has been down for years to my own knowledge

So here I am, feeling refurbished - I got new toys that I can use to archive stuff
I backed UT-Files and Medor with IDM
Then I am gonna sanity check what is possible, I crushed some duplicates back in UT3-Files
Then I ran a check on all Zip / Rar / 7z files for integrity, I found at least 1 broken - Those details I type out in a MISSING FILELIST.TXT - As it helps justify why aren't all files backed up, or if some are genuinely missing - So far no missing files on UT-Files and Medor
But I had one situation where UT-Files refused to send me INI files... I stuck in the WEB.ARCHIVE.ORG/ prefix on the download... And it ended up downloading - That is called cheating (like standing on a book, shooting this book to reach the top of a castle and save the princess in all Unreal style)

That may be enough for me regarding UT99 archiving, that is both in terms of archiving and usability - I can CTRL+F everything now from my computer and find every file - That is beautiful
Last time I recall Carbon had 400 GBs on UT3 stuff alone - So that is my initial limit, everything else is extra, Medor's site will add up to 200 GBs or so - I can't think of anything else I may need to add to that - Shrimp's Unreal Archive already does such fantastic service and I appreciate the effort that is gone over and under it

Enough! I have so much time in my hands - It is time to get to archiving (I Sleep, the PC does the dirty work!)

EDIT: Medor's has been fully backed up! An MD5 checksum has been provided to verify sanity of the files

MD5 files are provided for every place who does hold anything other than ZIP, RAR, 7Z - as compressed folders already employ their own integrity methods - that is: EXE, loose image files, text files, html files, except php files which I can't download - I should contact medor how to go about that

Two things will happen related to Medor's site (not soon as I went roundabout on this for a week and half and want to switch priorities ^^)

[DONE] 1. I may split it out of SKAARJNET to a separate entry - As it has too many files, it slows down my Sync software :S
2. I may contact the Administrator (medor) to line up my backup with his (by providing an MD5 hash from his end)
Then with that - Begin checking integrity on all compressed folders, and fix those that need it
(like brucelee.zip from SkinCity, which I fixed in the past by removing the first 134 bytes)

Hey there, I did something beautiful - I backed up UTzone and Russian Tournament

UTzone was overdue! Their downloads had a time limit so... I was a little unlucky, they'd stop at the 30 MB mark and say it is done but the file is corrupted... Those were most likely also the files I never checked out about 5 years ago that were corrupted too... mystery solved?

Oh anyway, my gut feeling was right, they now changed it! For better and for worse!
They added the Anubis script which I was aware of (UT99.org looks like switched methods too!)
And now they download all right again, from start to finish, beautiful!

Then there is the monster in the room, Russian Tournament
This is the first time I decide to back up all UT games, that is UT99 UT2004 UT3
I went as far as to change from Files missing to Available files (So I could get each portion done within 3 hours, per day), I will post a sample of my effort here

It is not professional looking, instead it is human-digestible, so I can look back at it and so on without a machine doing it - I am no machine
The game here is I hunt for 2ndary links in the display page when the 1st link does not work - write that down. I make extra exceptions for the UT3 stuff, nothing of that is written down unlike in my other backups - Regardless I never go too strict, only where I can digest it! (I keep a lot of duplicates on purpose - Same file exists in two websites in my archive)

I took Dr Evil site as the experiment, this site has not been updated since 2020 - I hope that is okay, as I contacted him (waiting for reply), I could remove this at a later date if it is not necessary



As of current time, SKAARJNET's Filen repo gives off a download speed of 5-10 MBs per second
Whereas Odysee with a download accelerator zooms past at 15-25 MBs per second

Instead, if willing to preview the files before extraction, make sure you have 7z context Menu enabled

Right Click > 7z > Open Archive



It will display the file, but cannot be extracted traditionally, without the presence of ZSTD.DLL in path "C:\Program Files\7-Zip\Codecs\" in the other hand the Self Extractable has this extension integrated for quick deploy

The header as such is as small as 512861 bytes: 433400 the 7z executable header, 75016 bytes for the raw BITMAP 256x256 icon, 4445 the 7z header. Chopping the first 508416 bytes out of the EXE (with Disk Destroyer or a hex editor) will give you a fully functional 7z file.

I say this if you want to play stealthy with the AntiVirus Or If I get requested to release a non-EXE version - to know that this info is trivial - I might include scripts that do this automatically, an "EXE beheader"

UT3 keeps receiving mods & updates... This in particular --> Map pack worth 200+ stored in Google Drive (clicky)

Many of the maps can be interesting & disturbing looking! In either or both ways - I recall a port of UT2004's Hyperblast... The new Deep Space is full of its own charm - This was years ago by now, my brother actually plowed through these maps and not me - They are more into the artwork aspects of it rather than leaning towards anything gameplay in their quirks & strengths



This suits me - As in the desire to take the game from a different angle, and create something new in its place!

I love the Razorback in every sense of the word, it has a crazy low center of mass when you drive it, you can lowkey drift with it too - Its visuals really pay tribute to the original Razorback by Skaven :rock:

Anyhow, I included interactive material in SKAARJNET\Dumps - hot stuffz\Venus19216\Venus7102.7z [3.52 GB]
It is only 3 GBs - I stored binaries so you can play it without the full game or fiddling with settings for hours. I left in a README once extracted
Only the mouse maps in the above pictures are included, stock game is essentially non-existent. Again, it is 3 GB of custom content ^^
