CAMPING SNIPER WORLD CUP !!!!!!!!

This summer there is a new sniper camper tournament coming to Unreal Tournament and everyone on this forum is invited to take part in it.

THE UNREAL TOURNAMENT WORLD CUP 2009

Most tournaments are based on clans but this tournament will be different. This tournament is based on international players and not clans. This means that every player in the UT community can take part and not just those players at large clans. It does not matter where in the world you are from or what skill level you are at, there is a team waiting for you to be a part of. The largest countries will be submitting multiple teams so please do not be put off if you don’t think you would make your country’s first team.

This has the potential to be one of the best ever tournaments in UT, where players of all skills from all clans can play together and have fun. We currently have over 150 players signed up from a dozen different countries and areas ranging from New Zealand to Croatia.

We are aiming to start this tournament in July or August 09. This gives everyone plenty of time to sign up, register to represent their country, organise the teams and ensure we have all the necessary resources in place.

Q) What if my country is so small that we will not have enough players?
A) Do not worry. Small countries have been grouped together to ensure that everyone can play. We even have 1 player from Jordan who will be competing in the "Rest of World" team.

Q) I am interested but do not want to commit to playing. Do I have to play if I sign up?
A) No. Signing up to the forum allows you to view and take part in the pre-tournament debates. In order to play you must register for your country on the forum. Again, this is not a commitment to play but in order to play you must register.

Q) What are the rules?
A) It is a camper sniper tournament. The specific rules are still being debated so in order to get your views across please register soon. We hope to have reached a conclusion on the rules within a few weeks.

Q) Which clan is running this?
A) There is no clan running this. This is completely non-clan affiliated. Individual clan admins from all across the world are working with us to ensure that all the necessary resources are in place for this.
