Looking for skybox drawing tutorials
Yeah, that's basically it. I'm looking for decent tutorials on how to create skybox textures painted to a cube. I've tried this manually and I end up with distortion of perspective effects when trying to apply my work to a cube. So basically, I'm looking for some tutorials that teach me the proper methods of painting skybox textures with the proper field of view effects.

You won't be able to manually paint cube maps until you don't know some complex geometry. If you know than all you need is photoshop. There are programs to create cube maps. Most common method is rendering a 3d scene to a cube map. There are also plugins or programs that can convert sphere maps to cube maps. Drawing sphere maps is much more easier.

Have you tried to make skyboxes with Terragen?
