Zanaveth Ultra Suite (1.3, possible final version?)

Yep, all new weapons by me that actually work on multiplayer and are not excessive at all. This is going to be different than my usual style so stay tuned and stuff like that. Well, I'm not forcing anyone to play this, you can do exactly like you did to my SWWM thread and ignore this completely.

The plan:

Screens?

I mean, most of the time you want to people to reply to words, and that doesn't work that way.
post screens and maybe people will reply and give their feedback.
You say you have 2 weapons done, then show them. Not spoil much, but take at least 1 shot from each one won't hurt the pack.
The gravity gun looks and plays nice, I really liked the grabbing effect, but the secondary mode I didn't like much to say the truth, but you have to show people at least one effect from each weapon to get them at least interested in it when you release it.

Besides, most people won't reply, most people will download and "maybe" give feedback later once it's released, and you can see by your downloads count (if you host the weapons in moddb for example). That will show the interest from people on your weapons.

Take this like a good friendly advice :wink:

Hello guys, I got this cool map that I've made - it has almost UT3 like visuals, really complicated BSP as well pretty nice DM gameplay.Sorry no pics, I haven't made anything yet. :ironic:

To open a thread like this without any screens is competly bullshit. You can talk a lot. Or: "Screens or it did not happen"

I have a better idea:
How about instead of presenting it first and not making it later, make it first and present it later.
That's how it works whit software and almost everything. If it's not possible to create a fully complete product for the presentation then at least consider making a demo, like a picture, or a video, or both, or a playable demo whit half the features you listed.
If you can't convince anyone at the presentation that it has some potential, nobody will care about it even if it will be accidentally finished, and released.

Man, look at your thread and many threads out there announcing projecs like this. A mod announcement have ALWAYS to show at least 1 image: be it concept, a WIP or even a finished product, otherwise you will get either:
- lack of interest
- some interest just asking something "viewable" to still follow the project

In our case you got number 2, since every single one of your announcements lacked in media: video or images.
So unless you show any kind of image related to your project once you announce it as your own, then you will get always this reaction from people.
