rar files

Post by CaesarMagnus »

Is there a good, free rar extractor around that doesn't have spyware and crap on it?

I got all of your extraction needs here :D:

This program will allow you to extract rar files

http://www.philipp-winterberg.de/softwa ... _unrar.php

This program will allow you to extract Zip files

http://www.camunzip.com/

This program is for extracting some wierd-ass file type I stumbled across called 7zip.

DAMN!!! official website aint working hold on let me find another link... found one.
https://sourceforge.net/projects/sevenzip/

ALL of these programs are freeware not some bullshit free trial or annoying shareware.

I use UltimateZip, he supports a wide variety of archive types, no 7-zip in the version 2.7 but he is very indispensable for me.
My map on Nalicity - ctf-2on2-terram643 - ctf-dragonfire2k7-se - ctf-comptoir - ctf-inuitfactory - ctf-techtraining - ctf-dna-factum - My map on UnrealPlayground

Shade if you bought your computer from a custombuild based store most likely, while they were building and setting up the software before you bought it, they used Winrar and forgot to remove it.

And besides Winrar is a good too. Latest one is 3.4.2 I think.... :noidea

WinRar is shareware, it's true.
But I like WinRar, because its extracts rar and other files too, with any problem of any kind.
And it compresses without a single problem.

And Shade, WinRar doesn't come with Windows. :agree1:
I know it, because every single computer I bought, they never came with a thing installed, they all came "virgins" :loool: .
Because, I like to know what exactly I have on my computer, so I install all the things I need, including Windows of course  , and WinRar

You can use Winrar if you like or you can be cheap bastard (like me!) and download a bunch of free stand-alone devices.
