They could have done this years ago whit ut99, even my phone can run quake. I played online dead-match in quake on my phone. It was crazy. I wish it was ut99...

somewhat cool ... somewhat lame .. i mean .... I have a 25" monitor on my PC ... so playing on a 3" would suck a lot and I'm sure it wont even support a hook *rofl*

I actually disagree. Playing on 3 inch screen is pretty comfortable once you get used to it. Also, all of those IPhail shooter games have optimized controls that make the game much smoother and fun.

That's a really smart move that Epic is making by the way, since mobile entertainment industry is where all the consumer money go nowadays, not to mention that the engine will be definitely licensed by game-developers. Hopefully something goo comes out of this one.

Something also tells me that this is they bail-out plan given current economic crisis. But that's a totally different topic...

this is completely against the soul of ut if you ask me xD
i hope consume heads wont support it. at least you can play ut in your last hours when youve got trapped in a cave or sth and your destiny is to starve cause you cannot be rescued cause ther is no signal.. WONDERFUL!
