Actually I registered there to upload my maps. Ok in the forums itself I saw a sticky thread.. only online tested and working maps are valid and such stuff. Ok.. well then I opened my map threads (Syntra + Antalius)

I noted than a small mistake (again) in one of the maps descriptions and wanted to edit it...

First I thought my time was up to edit my posts/threads - I mean its possible, because I was two times or so possible for me to edit my threads. But after I noted a thread where somebody asked for tropical textures and I could NOT reply - same message appeared .. I was a little bit like WTF is going on here? Am I seriously banned for promoting my maps?

Nothing. No reply (so far). I am still banned there.
Actually I got a second mail but it included only my login data and bla bla if you forget your login pw and username you can request a new one.. thats it.

Your account has probably been deactivated, because you already have an account or you didn't enter your address-information properly. Either way, it's best to contact "Medic". They certainly don't mind you posting your maps on the forum though.

It says "This account is disabled." in red at the top of your account. What did you do ? Make too many camper locations on your map or something ?

Uhm no?! And seriously.. something like that never happened to me before. I was not even warned on any forum before. But anyway, at the end I dont give care about this forum. Ban a user because of camp locations in a map? If that would be true, they are more than rude.

Guys, avoid this site if you dont feel to give any site your personal information. Surely, I could fake it, but after THAT greeting, I dont feel like to revisit that site anymore. Really, something like that never happened to me before.

Just one thing, is this a UT GOTY only site? Is that I see some news regarding UT3 and UT2004, but all I can see is stuff about UT GOTY and servers also UT GOTY.

I already thought in registering in before, I always had a step back due to some things I saw there, and that just adds now to my reasons to not register there anytime soon lol

Although I agree with the whole "server", "forum", etc, I don't agree about "pm's", I mean:

Recently it came to my mind that a lot of bullying is going around on the servers, on irc, on the forum and in pm's

If i notice anything, on the forum, on the servers, in the pm's or anywhere else were people are being hurt on purpose i will ban the persons responsible for this for at least 1 week.

Friends, there's something in the forums and anywhere in the rest of the sites called "privacy". "PM" means "PRIVATE message". Even if you show it to anyone else, it's still to be treated as private info, and therefore it cannot count as an offense to the forum rules. PMs exist really for stuff like: some message that is to give to only 1 member or a group, something private like a log for example, and also although I think is wrong, they also have the usage to "flame" and "insult" that person if you like if you have reasons to. You can't do it in the forum, obviouslly, but you can do it by PMs.
Now of course, if someone gets PMs over and over with insults, the user can report and the admins might ban the offender IF they FEEL to, but other than that, they are PRIVATE Messages and should be treated as such.
Of course, if you make one of this kind of PMs to an admin, you might receive an instant ban + account deleted combo, but that's just because he/she is the admin and do whatever he/she likes in the last case rofl

But now, the only thing they can do without violating your privacy is to trace your country afaik, but more than that is an abuse from a forum/site like that.

i4games, they just hit the bottom with that one rofl
