Now, if it wasn't Shade, this big good ut99.org community wouldn't exist for so long, and it's still the fastest, most stable, reliable and nicest (community wise) from all the big UT communities I know.
Regarding to what Creavion said, I also agree: Shade isn't here, and last time I talked to him he was at full steam again like Shadow when he came back to developing, but unlike Shadow he left the building 1 week later, and verticube isn't too happy either.
I am not happy with that either, but the problem here is not the fact the head Admin not being around (he's not around but truth is that this forum is still sustained by him and some donations), the problem is that Shade doesn't tell anything to anybody here (not even us mods of the forum), and I don't mean what is happenning in his life, but telling something if he is either or not doing something or if he just can't at the moment, nothing more.
As a result, personally I will keep using this forum of course, since this is still the best one, but for instance I will move my ut99.org "homepage" to an actual full customized blog of my own soon at blogspot (since I got enough knowledge at javascript, actionscript 3.0 with flash and using jquery, although I am still a bit of a noob at mysql and php), since the admin doesn't tell us a thing.
Still, I will still support these forums as I can and hopefully one day Shade will do something about it, but until then I will build some stuff of my own.
But anyway, Happy Birthday Shade
