Win XP, Nvidia 3d card, new laptop, slow ut?

basically everything i said in the title.....

ive got a Samsung laptop new, 3 gig ram, 3 gig intel cpu, nvidia geoforce 3d card, installed ut on it but it seems slow and laggy in game play.. would appreicate any help on resolving this thankyou..

I am not really interested to try it out, but I always wonded about this "special?" UT exe. So far I supposed this is the UT demo. Sometimes it could not hurt if you comment your linked files.

Is it slow and laggy offline *and* online? You'll be much better helped taking the time to explain your situation in detail.

It's a UT with setting: netspeed, fraps ,set opengl,ready d3d9,MinDesiredFrameRate,FrameRateLimit ... all this for be easy for you there is a readme to.

Well then its fine. The point of my post was actually e.g. this:
A new map will be NORMALLY introduced with screenshots (although they are MOSTLY also included in the maps archive), they can be viewed without downloading the map. I would call that service. At least I would not want to download a file where I have no clue what purpose it might have.
