No Self Damage

No Self Damage v0.3

Weapons don't damage the owner. You can allow or disallow self/team boost too.

Did this because I felt bored of see players kill themselfs with the rocket launcher in my server.

Install:
-Play as mutator "NoSelfDamage.NoSelfDamage"

Completely serverside.

I think there is a mutator like that already in some servers.

But either ways, I don't know if they're part of Nexgen or a plugin, so it's always good to have a standalone small version of it.

In the excessive mod is a "no self-damage" plug-in but you can't use it alone.

yes you can't do rocket jump.

I may update it with a conf file to allow bost although.

Not only rocket jumping, but all kinds of boosting should be configurable imho. Many servers would benefit from that.

I love the alternate fire from the ripper in the excessive mod ...This was the first time I could use the ripper and it was fun. (face][ and excessive mod ... :mrgreen: )
this alternate fire mode (maybe not SO powerful) would be cool to be include in the normal game.

Ok now you can choice to allow or disallow self boost.

Ok new version added this new one add the option to allow or disallow team boost and reedemer boost was fixed, it don't boost anymore when the boost option is disabled.

If you are going to soldier on developing this, please feel free to use anything in here you might want to add:

I set it to mutate commands and it will work on the fly, controllable by the individual clients as they wish. The code needs a revisit, it's quite old stuff but it works.


Credits to Rush. Much code was used from AntiBoostV5.

I thanks for the motivation, but mine version is based serverside, and I'm not planning mutate commands for clients, since there are out there better mutators with this options (for bt).

I dunno if I will add more something or change anything, since I mainly do it by necessity of my servers. :)
