UT99.org | Unreal Tournament Community

Well. Where to begin. My name's Chance, and I've just begun to play UT. I guess I'm pretty young compared to the rest of you, as in a couple months I'll be 18.

The reason I just started playing UT is because I wish to drop console gaming entirely. I got sucked in to buying a 360 because of...Halo (say what you will about that) and am finally starting to wake the hell up and realize that I appreciate PC gaming more. Figure I should experience the classics before going out and building a gaming rig (on a crappy laptop at the moment) to play all the newest titles.

Back before I 'devoted' myself to console gaming, I played Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory for a while, and it was probably the most fun I've ever had playing an online FPS. The mods and community were enough to keep bringing me back for more. I'd like to get that feeling again.

Guess I'll browse around the forums some and try to find some servers or something. Maybe join a clan, if there's still a good amount of people playing.

All I can say is YES!!!
More people should take a closer look at UT and really get into it.
Check us out and find out just how deep UT goes.

Hey Earo16 - nice of you to join our group of players this past weekend on our servers with our new Redeemer mod.
And for being new, you do very good for sure! (don't let him fool you folks - he is pretty darn good - and at Redeemer too)
