Wisdom teeth

Post by >@tack!< »

i went to the dentist today and he said: YOUR WISDOM TEETH WILL BE PULLED OUT BITCH!
I said: NICE! YEAH!

who else has their wisdom teeth pulled out? All 4 will be pulled out he said but the upper ones were kinda far in so maybe just the bottom 2.
Also how did you experience it?
why i dont ask this in a medical forum/site? Cuz theyre pussies. i wanna hear it from the badass ut99ers! :D

Oh crap, I still have my wisdom teeth (they haven't come through yet), but I heard it's pretty though.
You can be sick for a couple of days (so plan ahead, you can't do shit in those days probably) and you get a massive hole in your mouth from cutting/getting the teeth out which they have to stitch together and you need to keep it clean or have chance of infection.
So not really a nice thing! And I suggest you to not see youtube vids about it (I did lol).
Good luck with it!

My Dumbass teeth wasn't pulled out they got cut in pieces out of my jawbone because those bastards started going into the 'rong direction.
Afterwards ....it was the pure pain ...at home I could only think about to shoot someone or throw a Piano on someone's head.
Not like a cut or something ....it was more like a broken jaw.

I don't think you can do important stuff the day after. I've heard you will be out of the running for a few days.

I got them done surgically. All my wisdom teeth at once and 9 baby teeth that stubbornly liked me so much they stayed in until my early 20's. They put me on a table, hospital gown and the full bit, with an IV jammed between my knuckles.
Couldn't eat anything solid for a month and change as my mouth was too swollen to open.
:(
Good times.

I had mine done and it's not really such a minor thing. I have a high tolerance to pain/sleep meds so I "woke up" in the middle of mine. It didn't hurt and I wasn't uncomfortable but they were drilling the tooth into breaking to extract the smaller parts. I still very much remember the doc stopping and looking at me and going "Oh, hi Kelly...Good night Kelly" and next thing I remember I was at my house. I thought they just pulled the tooth but that's not the case. They will break it and get the parts out since it allows a smaller hole.

It's all in all not bad. It doesn't hurt like you think it will BUT you will need to watch the holes until they close. 'Dry Socket' is very painful so avoid foods you shouldn't have. Sleeping is the hardest part since your jaws are swollen and somewhat sore it makes lying on a pillow tough if you roll over in your sleep.

eh you got a full one? Here (at least with my dentist) you only get a local one, so no sleeping here.

Most American doctors like to use the medicine Versed, which doesn't really put you stone to sleep. It makes you drowsy but you lose your short term memory of the event. How convenient you can't remember the procedure if you later wanted to sue the doctor for messing it up.
