UT99 Dedicated Server

I want to setup a dedicated UT99 server on Ubuntu Feisty Fawn 7.04.I have updated UT99 to 436.I went to New Multiplayer Game,entered the necessary stuff and pressed Dedicated,but system hanged.What should I do in order to get it working?

My PC specs are:

CPU Pentium D 805 Dual core
MB Asus P5PL2
1.5 GB RAM
VGA ATI Radeon x550

due to continuous problems with the dynamic nature of IPs many admins faced altho they had quite an experience or good server guides id recomment to rent a server tho.. ther are cheap hosts with GOOD support 24/7.

Yeah but you have to pay monthly and gets a bit expensive when you rent alot of slots

clanpay.. downgrade or few slots for the beginnin..
however if you have regular income (pocket money for kids) it shouldnt be hard to afford a server.. im sure some of you spend the same or even more money for cinema/alkohol, cigarettes or drugs/food as they would need for rentin a server.. so its quite affordable.. IF you really want it and IF you can cope with a "crack" in your former priorities for everday life

I use gameservers.com for my hosting. They do very well and have decent support. I pay about $45 a month this includes 14 player TS, unlimited web space, and a 16 slot ut99 server on linux. Id rather be windows since linux doesn't handle ut as well, but it does the job.
