Here's a Yule-tide present for you (If you are old enough)

The retro gaming cafe where I spend a lot of time, has been making game inspired drinks since it opened.
Inventing the drinks can be a lot of fun (but it is serious work)

The Guardian newspaper has had 6 drinks made for a special feature;
Uncharted 3: Drinks Deception,
Elderflower Scrolls: Skyyrum,
LA Noire: Truth, Lie, Stout,
The Modern Warfare frag grenade,
The Portal Two,
Batman: Arkham Party.

They even have their own (9-bit) blend of coffee for geeks, gamers, and tech support dudes like me (I am drinking it now in a Pac-Man mug ).

For the drinks, nice Ideas ...but ...there is no UT Drink
Something like the "Rumdeemer" or the "Bio-Refill"

The Coffee ...hm ... the main thing is it doesn't taste like Starbucks than it's alright.




Offtopic:
Go to Starbucks and order an coffee nothing else only a blunt coffee... don't take something from the menu ...see the head explode of the employee behind the counter.

I just told Jim (the owner), and he likes the names (they already do a bioshock though).
Challenge him via the comments on the newspaper's page and he will have to give a public/official answer

There is only UT3 on the Xbox here (I needed some UT action, so I bought it for the cafe), that and my incessant talking about the best game in the world.
I don't play it often though as I'm still useless without a keyboard and mouse, and without the extra monster and zombie action it seems quite boring.
Also I always have to host a strategy type game as everyone seems to just be playing Deathmatch

Thankfully the coffee here is chosen and blended with the guy from the coffee company sitting around having drinks.
Jim can even tell people which beans are in it and where they are from.
I have never had Starbucks coffee, as I am aware of it's poor taste

I get my coffee in my own Pac-Man mug here too!
Funny, there are people in the background discussing how good the coffee here is (apparently it puts hair on your chest).

But I have n Idea for a UT Drink.
The Sludge Barrel:
Make two jelly shots with Sweet woodruff/Waldmeister Liquor ...cut it rough in pieces.
Take three fingers of vodka, one finger blue curacao liqueur and one finger of orange juice the remaining space will be filled up with Sprite or another lemon pop. Shake it well and fill it in a drum like drinking glass.

It is a modification of a drink called toxic ...with Crushed Ice instead those jelly shots.

Yes, I found that when I went to check if he's got a comments box on the site.
I sent him a text, and he says there's a problem at the host (I think his web designer probably made a boo-boo).
loadingonline was the original name of the site, so normally you'd see the new url.

Ah well he has a Twitter account in the mean time if anyone wants to throw drinks at him.

How about a big pub map with drinks on the tables, that explode when shot? Here in Jamaica, the "Rumdeemer" would be a popular weapon...

Like the idea of that. Sounds like an idea for a Food Fight variation.
There is a drunk-mode mutator, that gives you beers as pickups

Had a quick hunt (I think this is the 1 I have)
If you want a bar-fight, this is quite a good fun map (some cunning hide away places for camping)

This map uses a nice range of Bottles on the bar (which could probably be edited to explode with breaking-glass and liquid).

BTW. I'm at the cafe, and the problem with the site is due to a change of host system, and someone being a muppet.
