just started to play again after finding these forums. was a little shocked that there was still a following! this is still my all time favorite game.

Anyways - whats up from Canada. Used to ply Giant maps Low grav ESR / CTF low grav 255/55 on the hnc servers if anyone is still out there who remembers.

i'm also wondering what's popular now - looking forward to fragging with you .

I don't play online so I can't say whats popular right now.

Hmmmm... right now are Monsterhunt server and Siege server very popular ...but many different game-types as well ...rocket launcher CTF or Redeemer arenas or the StrangeLove server and it's many derivatives where you ride a rocket or fighter jet.

as for whats popular now..well
as papercoffe said monsterhunt and siege are probably the most popular gametypes
but you can easily find atleast one populated server for sniper rifle,comboinstagib, instagib,a DM-Deck-16 only server,some rocket launcher arenas(one of them is low G)..

Don't forget to update UT's graphics renderers, so you can use modern high res texture packs, and utilise your newer graphics card.

GMC is kind of still around. Not many people play anymore though. http://Www.fpsnetwork.com will have some familiar faces to you. Couple sin guys post there occasionally. HNC is still around also, http://www.hncclan.com.

Also it is 155/55 not 255/55. Lol

I think there are still a couple GMC servers. Their names begin with GMC in the browser.
I know of two lgi 155/55 CTF servers too hnc's and tdn's server. Not 100%a on HNC, sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't.

We have some Normal Grav Instagib servers that are hugely popular. Seems that the US one has been a big hit also.

I am contemplating making an LGIG server but I no longer have the maps etc for it.

Yeah give me a few and I'll zip them all up for ya. I think they might be on ut-files.com, but not all of them.

Also Bunnytrack is well played so far. Its a parkour gametype where you must cap flags as fast as you can. There isnt killing people but some maps still need some good aim and shoot experience and a lot of jumping/dodging
