I was wondering if it's possible to take a 3ds file and import it in the Unreal Editor.
I'm trying to make a map of the Hyrule land from Ocarina of time.
I got this 3ds file of the whole thing and I'm putting it as an attachment.
If someone feels like doing the map themselves then it would be awesome as I'm a complete noob in that stuff.
I ripped the map directly from the game with the n64 emulator: Nemu08.

with some minor script work it can be imported, compiled into a .u and used as a mesh but not sure if it would be stable for a map, and texturing it would be a bitch.

I think it's quite possible, I think that exists a tool that can convert .ase objects into .t3d, then you can import it as a brush.
You can download it right HERE
And look for ASEtoT3D
Now you have to do is search any conversion tool that converts that 3D object/mesh into .ASE, unless that your 3D program could do it (MilkShape can do it).

make a tutorials section on this site and ill post the 3ds max export tutorial i wrote a whole ago here
the tutorial shows how to make a model, texture it and import it into unreal editor (textured)
