Try to use in CTF-Face, deploy the launcher, let the rocket with the satellite in it take off, once the satellite is online you can use the Ionizer just like the Ion Painter from UT2k4.

Although,. admittedly, the Ionizer can only fire where it can see. I found it on one map of mine, where the ceiling divides in sections, the Ionizer will sometimes tell you it can't hit a target because it can't move to that location.

The satellite only moves in straight lines. It doesn't know how to turn corners.
