Re: First Annual VM RX CTF Mapping Contest (Rules & Info)
I believe that Mr Higor is working on something to this effect at present so .. there 'could' be something in the way of bot support for Rx's/SLV's in the future.. We hopeGEx wrote:Gotcha! Good luck to all participants!
EDIT: can I add bot-support? Yes they don't know how to use a RX but at least that they could walk from flag to flag.
Damn I miss SLV.. hopefully timtim from globalunreal.com will add support for them to NewNet in the future.. and or someone does..

Bot support for RX's? That sounds amazing. It'd make lonely server days a lot more fun when you're waiting for more to join.

I could always sign you up as a judge if you'd like. Since you really only need to be active the week of September 8th to judge the entries. Completely up to you though. =-]GenMoKai wrote:i Really want to enter the contest... but... sadly i havent much time for it lately

I would make a map but since this is a VM mapping contest you can count me out considering VM has F'd over HoF community recently. Good luck finding mappers.

Re: First Annual VM RX CTF Mapping Contest (Rules & Info)
I think we've all heard the same bullshit excuse a million times. VM is hosting the maps on their services, but they are not managing the contest. Pie and I are. The more mappers, the more maps for the Community, which we are in need of since we no longer have any active mappers in our Community. It's okay to feel the need to address your hatred towards CHOPPER, Fluke & Schlong, but not the entire clan and other community members who have done nothing to deserve your disrespect. You're just showing your ignorance towards the ACTUAL goal here, which is not selfish at all.
Right now, with the amount of competitors added, everyone has a great chance of winning money. Like I said, the more mappers we get the more maps contributed to the ENTIRE community, not just VM..

Well I think there is a bit too much drama between clans, but this seems to always be the case. Hey whatever keeps the game alive/interesting
Though SHLONG I myself do still pop on your DM servers with friends a lot. Anyway, lets stay on topic guys

No problem, GenMoKai! I completely understand. If it goes well this year, we'll hold another next year, and hopefully you can be apart of that! =-]GenMoKai wrote:I know, but i've loads of things on my mind and what needs to be finished maybe next timepie wrote:I could always sign you up as a judge if you'd like.
