you can find the map and some modded versions on ut99maps2.juplo.com

don't know which version do you prefer but I can tell you I installed DM-ZeitkindProFinal]EMB[V13 on ISC server because in this version players can access upper locations (needed for sniper camping)

Grins. Come over here a moment.
*whispers* Dude are you seriously saying.... You don't have a copy of THE city-map, that all others were judged by for years.

I'm not.. like judging you man, but seriously dude ?
Dude ? :nonono:

Also sorry to burst your bubble Medor, but some of them are just renamed versions of the same map.

Well Dr. Flay, don't tell anyone but... *Whispers* I don't even know what Map that is or anything...
I have been wondering for a while, is there anyone that made a playable Map out of the Intro Map? I would like to play DM or something on those streets.

well, nobody is perfect :noidea
...and people can have different opinions about "THE" and the city-map concept: I prefer DM-Zahltag, especially the MOS edition :what:
from a sniper camping point of view, there is a lot of city maps better than DM-Zeitkind, really...you only have to think about SUF maps

It's called DM-Intro, I've played a few versions of it in varying gametypes.

And many of them look boring, except for the parts where the camera fly by.

Alright, I will look for it and see how it goes.
Perhaps I might do a not so boring one once I start with the whole map making thing.

Oh lordy me, obviously since ye olde days there have been better city maps, but back when Zahltag and Zeitkind were the main contenders in Unreal for a taste of "real".

Zahltag is a good dog-fighting map, but Zeitkind introduced us to quality epic city sniping.
Remember, back then in Unreal, Zeitkind seemed like a massive map.
I still regularly play both, in Unreal, UT and when I can in 2K4. (some of the 2k4 remakes are stunning).

Zeitkind is really a massive map and still today one of the best looking city maps ever built for UT but imho is not well balanced for sniping, neither for actual camping mods which use modded rifles and xlocs. Moreover this map is suitable for, at least, 16-20 players. Anyway, being one of the first city maps released, people are always enthusiast when they talk about it :)
I installed a modified version of Zeitkind on ISC server for sniper camping (for historical reasons rather than for an effective gameplay) but, truly, is not the first map I would like to play on... :what:
