I know but I search for a Jets only mod/mutator ...where you start as a Jet in the map. And you have to pickup the weapons like in a normal game.

Or ...if possible a way to make a hurt-zone nonlethal when you are riding a Jet. Just to prevent player to leave the mother-ship without a flying vehicle.

None of the sites linked have the "technology bonus pack" for AirFight UT, and it's not in medor's archives either, so it looks like that file is lost in time until I figure out if somewhere back at my parents house it's on a unmarked CD or something...

On topic with what papercoffee want's... Mutators can intercept login attempts so it should be possible switch peoples playerpawn to a "jet playerpawn".. Of course restart player is also in UT99's mutators so that can be used to attempt to create a jet near (or in) the player and force the player to take control of it immediately after.

Well... not so lost.

I have AirfightUT on my computer at home. It probably wouldn't be that hard to put all of its components into a .zip, or I may even have the original .zip or .rar. or umod or whatever it was too.

Take a look tomorrow.

I think the "Technology pack" is "Airfight_UT_bonus_files.zip"
:shock: It makes quite a difference using "AF31_a7.zip"
The AI and physics are tweaked, and it "feels" much better.

Once you add the bonus and 3.1 alpha, you get to play with space-ships and use mutators :D

Is there another lightweight mod/mutator/solution which can match my needs.

Then I remember correct ...no, I need either a way to spawn as a jet/spacecraft or a possibility to prevent player to leave the base without a flying vehicle.

Water and flying vehicles?? Oh don't get me started....

Flying radishes from the future - it starts at about 3:16 what i am describing.

This is from the leaked unreal warfare build but using the UDN example vehicles and the map from UEngine 2 runtime....

you can get yourself stuck underwater using a hoverbike, then if you get unstuck somehow (either by luck or using a cheat) and reenter the vehicle yet again, and then start drowning, you will detach from the vehicle while you're drowning and you can still control the vehicle around without you and then....then you will die but you as the vehicle you are still alive, so you don't need your physical body anymore and then you can ascend to another dimension and..........
