Possible to make very low textures like S3TC textures?
So I want to make really low graphics for online gaming, or it would be cheating?
There was a video where a guy, called Sy4x is showed the S3TC textures and really low textures
I can't find the video because hes YouTube account is deleted
It's looked likes blurry, or more looked likes textures which is only colors
What do you think guys about that?

Hmmm Im not sure what are you talking about :p
it is easy to just scale textures to smaller resolution but seriously I dont know what you want to achieve

Set the world texture details to low ... or what exactly do you search.

I mean set the standard UT textures to just colors, I made a tweak which is can set MacroTexture for the map and the game will looks like this
So that's what I want to make just more clearly, thats all

In my eyes this looks really clearly and if the textures looks like this I will don't confused with the other textures, thats all

in your video render you can change the LODBias to a higher value, so default is 0 it can be changed to 1-3 or higher if you prefer, but it gets really ugly

It's just for OpenGL, for me thats lagging so Im using D3D9

There's also LODBias option for Direct3D9.

thanks, that helped, this makes alot of difference in skill, i became second in my team just now. Lol, still people manage to have 100 frags more then me in the other team
