official one updates automatically each week with the latest build. You need to log in to it with your forum account info

you only need engine license if you making mods/maps

Not sure what's in that torrent file, might be best to avoid it. If you really want to try it you want the official launcher and forum account. Couple mirrors here so you don't have to go thread hunting or trust dodgy torrents, won't get stuck with an older version either

I'll deactivate the torrent links.

Yes i did read somewhere that they have to pay for the editor.
I will hope that we wilol also not pay for the final release.
I did read somewhere that the community mods also other addon for this game .
The players of this game will have to pay for?
But this version i,ve did read somewhere is for free to use and free to play.
But i did already see that they are playing online with the updated version but never but never the less that whole level was net textured yet.
I,m very curious how long it take when the game is done in other words when will they come with the final built?
downloaded the editor you must pay for the content.

I can only say epic and the community keep up the good work.
another question when will be the finall release so that we can play the game?
I saw the deck 16 variant of this new game and it did looks very good.

great question for ut creator contents (don't hide!)

Post by darksonny »

<joke mode>Hi all bitches and ladies!</joke mode>

With the new and still unborn Unreal Tournament (4, the number is well...meh) in full creation, development and testing process along with the community. It's the first time for me that I see a great IP like Epic wanted to share their aknowledgement with us and fully support this great game ( and all their series with their flaws and hits ) now that is 15th aniversary of the release for ut99....the question is?:

1- Anybody has tried (in trial mode or via subscription) the new UEditor? what do you think about this one comparing to the past versions?
2- This is key for me, I would love to see great mappers (besides those great mappers from ut2k4-ut3, this last one appeared more newer mappers like stevelois, lordbret, tharalla etc) like fragbrag, swanky and some of the mappers here is chatting in this great forum. Would you map again in the new ut? What it does depend if you choose personally to try out again in the new UED 4?
3- Whats the future of UT if new IP for free, were an success when finished?

Have some question..
Does anybody know - will you need to pay for an engine to make mods? I mean, when game will be finished, how it will be possible to make mods for UT4?
Integrated editor such all games from Unreal series had? Or i will need to buy an engine?
If the last variant - that's sucks...
Unreal. Alter your reality..forever...
