I'm Alcoholodeck16 (Alcohol and Deck16 the two things i like the most
) , 30, from Germany - sorry i might be a bit rusty when it comes to englishUsually i don't introduce myself when joining some forums. But this seems like a nice lil place for the game i love so i thought it can't hurt.
UT99 is the first game i played online and although i really love UT i stopped playing it for years.
However i tried to get back into the game by installing UT2004 some months ago when i heard UT4 is in development, but tbh i never liked and i still don't like it as much as 99. After some research i found out that UT99 still seems to be alive and thats how i came (back) to 99. After some tweakin i started to play some games on a deck16 server and -WOW- i was blown away how much fun this game still is, even though i suck so bad at it. Me dooing shock combos? I don't think so, headshots? More like spray and pray, dodge? im a pro dodger ( as long as i don't have to do them forward or backwards..)
Now to be honest, basically im here because i have some "general" questions i might ask later (like what do i need? Are there map packs or mods i should get? And whats the best way to play this game with modern settings like FullHD and still beeing able to "compete").
But i'll try to become an active member here.
