COW SKIN Question - WTF?

Umm... WTF?

I am making a new cow. I placed colors on the leg to help line up body textures. BUT! Some strangeness is occurring. O.o

Behold the colored lines:


From the back of the leg the colors are:
Black
Red
Orange
Green
Blue
Fuscia

So it should work same order for both sides BUT check this shit out:


Just WTF? Just how is Fuscia touching Green on the other side? o.O

Anyone know why that happens?

As you can see are the "stairs" of the wireframe in different directions ...somehow have the developer thought it would be a good idea to flip the polygons of this section. Try this skin and you will see what I mean. (the red stripe on the body is just for reference)
