Re: help with redirect server
Old post im dragging back But may help someone else who reads it.
when we previously hosted our own redirect for our clan on the clan website, we created a subdomain and a folder where all the .uz files were kept.
you need to do something like this i assume...
RedirectToURL=http://www.subdomain.webaddress/foldername/
not quite sure if that would work using just an ip but you could try this. but i have not tried it.
RedirectToURL=your ip/C:/UnrealTournament/Redirect
and have a folder called "Redirect" inside your UnrealTournament Directory alongside the system,textures,maps sounds ect.
btw, your doing a redirect so i assume you know the files are compressed to.uz file type using either Acorpe manager or utcomprez you can also use a few other progs to do it too. including the one built into 2k4 which makes uz2 files if i recall correctly. but they still work for 99.
