Re: Random Texture Thread
Just some textures I've whipped up for something I'm working on (Feel free to take bets on if it'll ever be finished though.) The wheel and the chopper blades both have multiple frames for animation (though the wheel's anim is pretty ugly)

Re: Negative ReducedDamagePct?
Well, I was thinking of just taking the approach that the VaccumZone does, but rather than changing the player's FOV, change their ReducedDamagePct and ReducedDamageType.

Negative ReducedDamagePct?
Small question, seems silly to make a thread for it, but here we go: So, I'm working on a map concept, and I was curious: With the ReducedDamagePct property of the Pawn class, is it possible to set this as Negative? That is, is it possible to give a pawn a Weakness to a particular damage type? (I wa...

Steam & UnrealEd: Fixing Directory Names
As most of you probably know, the UT games prior to UT3, because of their relatively old engines, had a bug where UnrealEd couldn't parse spaces in directory names, resulting in UEd being unable to load any packages. This provides a problem for anyone who got their copies through Steam, as even if y...

Re: [Request] Old Content
So, the new machine's arrived, and I'm in the process of retrieving files. Thanks to everyone who's sent me the various bits. It'll take a while to see what I'm missing, and I'm hitting up ModDB for the various mods, but if anyone could share their cache with me I'd appreciate it, it'd save a good a...

Re: [Request] Old Content
storing files on a second hard drive in the same computer is not a backup! I know, I know. I've gotten sloppy the last couple of years. I'll be putting a backup system in place after I get the new machine and my wallet is a bit more padded. It's rather embarrassing, as my job necessitates telling p...

Re: [Request] Old Content
Most of what I gave to people was textures and some .u files, though there's a spattering of maps. Hopefully, the lions share of it is still in Delacroix's possession, and I'll get in touch with him once I have access to a computer with Steam again, seeing as USP is currently down.

[Request] Old Content
Hello everyone. As I mentioned in the Speedmapping thread, on new years eve, I was staying at a friends place, and unfortunately one of the individuals in the house left the front door unlocked. Along with various other things, my laptop was stolen, and I primarily kept local backups on the secondar...

Re: UT99.org presents : Speed mapping contest 2013 - Dec. 27
I'm afraid it appears I won't be releasing this map (Or any of several others) for a while, if ever. Last night while staying at a friends place in preparation for new years, the house had a break in, and my Laptop and other electronic gear, being in a single bag, was stolen. We've been in touch wit...

Re: UT99.org presents : Speed mapping contest 2013 - Dec. 27
Family I haven't seen in quite a while turned up, so it seems I've missed the deadline, I'm afraid, though I'll still try finish the map. (I spent most of yesterday putting together a computer, since I promised my little sister I'd show her how next time she was over this way.)

Re: UT99.org presents : Speed mapping contest 2013 - Dec. 27
I'll get started now (It's the 27th now - I can wait if it isn't elsewhere.) I' thinking CTF for the moment, though that may change.

Re: Screenshots
Seem to be, you get to a point and new messages pop up... although they're kinda badly triggered. Supposed to be when an entire species of monster is wiped out... but there's still like 100 more of each kinda after the count gets to 0. You want the SpecialEvent, with bBroadcast set to True. As for ...

Re: 24 hours speed-mapping-competition = want it?
Count me in. Being a 24h speed mapping, that way I can make a simple quite straightforward map that I am thinking about, nothing too complex (plus probably I will take only an hour at it or so). But yeah, just let us know if the rules allow custom stuff on it or not... not saying that I will add an...

Re: Screenshots
I considered it, but due to its placement it's most likely going to be cut over by a zone portal later on, and I decided it wasn't worth the later buggery.

Re: 24 hours speed-mapping-competition = want it?
I'd be up for it, but my time before christmas is a whirlwind of things-to-be-done, so I doubt I'll be able to participate.
