Re: Texture alignment on pillars.

You could also use my texture alignment tool. Download the script here: https://pastebin.com/4h7xDK2r. Save the text as a HTML-file and open it in your browser.

You can now also use the tool directly from my github-page: https://bloeb.github.io/ued_tex_align/u ... align.html

Re: Does anyone have these type of textures?

Dr.Flay, the intent of my post was to clear some things up. You stated 'possibilities' whereas I stated 'facts'. Furthermore, you state that 'as far as you can tell all embedded resources are his'. As I pointed out in my previous post this isn't true.

Re: Does anyone have these type of textures?

Dr.Flay, most of the textures used in DM-1on1-Ferkin are UT2004 stock textures (including the plant textures). The few textures that are myleveled are mostly screenshots. The other myleveled textures weren't made by Pandemonium either. They're UT2004 stock textures as well (myleveled in stock-maps i...

Dr.Flay, what are you trying to convey? You do realise the textures aren't his ... right?

Re: Does anyone have these type of textures?

The plant textures in BT-Heartcollector are from the UT-2004 map DM-1on1-Idoma by Sjoerd 'Hourences' de Jong. It looks like the textures from DM-1on1-Ferkin are a little bit different. You can use the converted textures from BT-Heartcollector if you like, but I did some editing. I would suggest you ...

Re: Setting actor properties after spawn

I would encourage you to use the NWBT/BTME-mod. I've created it for other mappers to use and It's actually quite easy. You place the BTME_Mutator in the map. Set the order of the mutator to 'first' and you're good to go. Then, whenever you put an Inventory-item in the map you should be able to adjus...

Re: Setting actor properties after spawn

Hey ShaiHulud, I'm wondering what you're trying to do. You do realise you could just use my NWBT-mod (or BTME-mod which is better) for this same purpose right?

Re: new UED 2.2 !

It sounds absolutely fantastic, but I'm a little bit skeptical. In particular about the node limit. This limit has been a true menace to my mapping efforts (for UT). I thought the node limit was hardcoded in the game-engine. Does it require additional dependencies? Will it work with all standard ren...

Re: Make of and import of custom meshes to UT

Very nice tutorial, but you forgot one very big con for meshes: They can not always be rendered correctly using the software-renderer/driver. Therefore I would recommend to use them only for the necessary things (weapons?, items?) and maybe use them for decorations. If you use meshes for decoration ...

Re: BT-Mechanic and BT-Heartcollector

Thanks. I've developed a mod called BunnyTrack Mapping Enhancement. It includes a system for normal weapons in BT, an objectives system, a customizable HUD system and other useful actors. The entire mod isn't suited for MH, but you're allowed to copy the scripts (see the licence) for your own mods. ...

BT-Mechanic and BT-Heartcollector

Hi, I want to show off my 2 latest BunnyTrack-maps. I've created 2 demo-runs. Please check them out. The first map is BT-Mechanic. I consider this map to be my masterpiece. The map is quite difficult, but has some versatile gameplay and a simple storyline. The theme is based on DM-Grendelkeep (from ...

This is an excerpt from my BTME-mod. Re: Locking your map name

Their EULA isn't even valid in some countries (in particular some European countries), because of the following reasons: 1. When someone buys the game he isn't able to read and agree with the EULA before actually buying it. 2. Laws are stil more important then EULA. The EULA can not overrule copyrig...

Re: Locking your map name

For the record, to what Bloeb said, where copyrights are concerned they're not generally automatic. You have to file for one, they have offices and contracts for stuff like that. Just making something on your own, no matter how original, doesn't automatically make it copyrighted. It's an unfortunat...
