Re: Small poly test
Meshcount = 37 MeshPolyCount = 11757 Specs: Intel Q6600 Quad Core @2.4 Ghz, Windows Vista 32 bit, ATI Radeon HD 2400 (128 MB dedicated) I'm not sure if these can be useful as I have uncapped FPS (when I start the game it's about 120 FPS), so instead of using the value when the FPS took a dip (which ...

Re: -= UT99.org-48-SC-2013_map-pack =-*
There is a readme in both DOM and DM zip files, just it's in HTML format (DOM-48SC-Reverie-V3-ReadMe.html and DM-48SC-Reverie-V3-ReadMe.html). (you could have shot me a PM before uploading!

Re: Win7 can't launch ut99 from ued2
I had it work fine under Win 7 too, did you try copying the game folder in a non-protected area (like in your Documents and Settings folder) where there won't be any permission problem? It shouldn't be a registry problem as I think the editor just looks for an UnrealTournament.exe file that's locate...

Re: Textures.......
I agree 100% with Feralidragon, I took a look at a few of the categories and I recognized a lot of common textures made by Hourences (basically all his packs are in here...), Shock Systems, Rorshach, Akuma, S'Calain and DavidM. Some come from other games like Quake 3 and Rune, and there are quite a ...

Thanks, glad you liked it. I made a DM version after the contest end, it's going to be included in the final map pack.>@tack!< wrote:I really like Reverie, although I would rather play DM on it than DOM

Re: Map Installing
I don't think there is any hard coded limit however the map scanning functions still produce the "10000000 iterations reached" crashes, I've had it happen when I had all the maps loaded and tried to play some gametype which supports all map types (like Rocket Arena All Maps). I haven't che...

Re: 48 hours speed mapping contest = VOTING!!
I voted for Gen's map, RedRust was nicely made and pretty detailed (it really felt like a completed map) but it was pretty small and I found the gameplay quite cramped. Glacium was nice looking but on the other hand it was more repetitive and a bit less polished (the thing that I didn't like the mos...

Re: UT99.org presents : Speed mapping contest 2013 - Dec. 27
I seem to be affected by obsessive compulsive editor disorder - I can't stop tinkering with stuff :P. So I decided to make another revision of the map, since I'm quite happy with the gameplay of this map and didn't want to leave it half-finished (I really should have waited some more instead of rele...

Re: UT99.org presents : Speed mapping contest 2013 - Dec. 27
So... this is the version for the final map-pack? Yes, I don't want to enhance the visuals as it would need better trims, then more details, then better lighting, then even more trims, even more details, etc... and then it would make no sense including it in the pack as it would be a completely dif...

@ DeathoX 8 What Ferali said. Nice! So I just went and made the fixes :P Here's the fixed version: http://www.deathox8.com/Downloads/DOM-48SC-Reverie-V2.zip It's kind of funny seeing what kind of dumb mistakes one can do when he's in a hurry :P The original version (unchanged) is still available fo...

Re: UT99.org presents : Speed mapping contest 2013 - Dec. 27
Can I fix a other issues (BSP errors, item balance, bot pathing, lighting) (of course keeping the first, unfixed, version as parameter for judging) or should I leave the map as is except for the banner fix? If other fixes can be done, how much time do we have before the mappack is compiled?
