The reason why 469 isn't as advanced as 227 is because one of the projects goals is to maintain compatibility with the myriad of mods made for UT99 over the years. If every UT99 player and server suddenly jumped ship to 227 with Botpack without any problems, then people would bitch about X mod or Y ...

I've noticed that bots will not attack anyone but the flag carrier if a flag is taken from their base, even if they are under fire from someone else, such as a human player. This makes it pretty easy to take out bots pursing your flag carrier as long as you don't get in their line of fire. Is there ...

I'm not sure what the "skill" bar does when customizing an individual bot. Does it adjust a bot's individual skill based on the selected skill?

Two questions about 469 before I upgrade. 1. What happens when you run a mod or mutator that uses it's own crosshairs? Does it use them, or do crosshairs break entirely? 2. How well does 469 support OldSkool and campaigns for it, like Operation: Na Pali? I read somewhere that it has issues with them.
